A family game of Monopoly got violent last week in Oklahoma, leading to a man being arrested. When one reads a headline like that you ask yourself what did he do wrong? Are you even playing Monopoly if you aren't fighting the banker midway through the game? This guy began fighting with his stepfather, who I can only imagine was the banker in the game, when things got a little crazy and he pulled a gun and chased his stepfather and stepsister. Is that how the game ends?

I can honestly say I have no idea how a player even wins a game of Monopoly. I'm 35 years old, and have never once seen the game Monopoly reach it's finish. The ending of a Monopoly game must be so amazing that 'finish' isn't the right word for it. Something bigger, something the elicits a stronger feeling of joy that finish. Climax! That must be the right word for what happens at the end of a game of Monopoly. Anyone that has nothing better to do with their lives and hangs around long enough to be a part of the climax of a monopoly game must be so excited it's over that the feeling of euphoria that spasms through their body can only be referred to as the climax.
