The DeBella Show nailed it with a remix to the tune of "Piano Man" by Billy Joel leading up to the big win against the New York Giants in the NFC Divisional Round, and the "Jet Airliner" remix keeps the party going.
"When we're home or on the road/ The Eagles sure can score/Here we are in the championship game at the Linc or watching at home/ We'll keep writing songs for MGK/ Until the Super Bowl's been won/ Niners are going to lose Sunday/ You know the Eagles are moving on"
The city of Philadelphia will wait in anticipation all week, and a wild fan base always knows how to do things right on game day.
"We'll beat the 49ers/ We'll drink beer and eat food all day/ Yeah, beat the 49ers/ Then Super Bowl we're on our way"
The Birds enter the NFC Championship Game as slight favorites over a 49ers team starting so-called Cinderella story Brock Purdy at quarterback. Jalen Hurts is locked in after his breakout season and ready to send the city of Philadelphia into euphoria for the second time in five years.
"Good luck from all the fans at home/ Give them hell from John DeBella/ When the Eagles kick butt on game day/ It might be time to send home Cinderella/ Well, we got Scott and Sanders in the backfield/ They'll keep the ball in Philly's possession/ Flying high, Jalen Hurts is our guy/ And it looks like he might leads us to Super Bowl LVII
We'll beat the 49ers/Eagles are going all the way/Yeah, beat the 49ers/Yeah, Super Bowl we're on our way
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah/We'll beat the 49ers/Yeah Super Bowl we're on our way"
It’s a catchy beat for the DeBellaware Valley to enjoy in anticipation for the NFC Championship Game.
Tune in to to the John DeBella Show weekday mornings from 5:30am-9am on 102.9 MGK.
