Wall Street Journal Profiles Jalen Hurts’ Powerlifting History
Jalen Hurts is all the talk right now, as the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback is taking his team to the Super Bowl this weekend.
Now, some of the biggest news outlets in the world have their eyes on Hurts. The Wall Street Journal just released a new article in which they discuss Hurts’ history as a powerlifter.
In the article, they interview Josh Opiela about Hurts’ time in high school as a powerlifter. They note that his incredible strength can partly be explained by his time as a high-school powerlifter.
“I wasn’t aware of just how good he was at playing football,” Opiela told the outlet. “I just knew him as an amazing powerlifter.” Find the full story here.
