The website 50toppizza.it has put together a list of the "50 Top Pizzerias in the US" for 2022. This site bills itself as a "Guide to the Best Pizzerias in the World," which means that these pizzerias aren't only the best in America- they're among the best in the world. The No. 1 honor goes to Una Pizza Napoletana in New York. It's not surprising that New York would land high on the tally.

Pennsylvania has just one pizzeria that made the cut of the top 50 best pizzerias. That special place is Pizzeria Beddia. Of Pizzeria Beddia, the publication states, "Simple ingredients, minimal spaces and only four types of pizza on the menu in this pizzeria which can be found at Philadelphia, the biggest city in the state of Pennsylvania. In 2019 Joe Beddia changed his location, and now his pizzeria can be found at 1313 N Lee St. The dough is hand-made and well-leavened. The pizza is crunchy and the fresh ingredients are of an excellent quality. If you want to avoid a long wait, it is advisable to book, but Pizzeria Beddia leaves half of its tables for customers who haven’t booked. The excellent ice-cream is also a must."
