Slash and Billy Gibbons are part of an all-star lineup honoring Lynyrd Skynyrd at the CMT Music Awards.

Per Billboard, the performance honors the 50th anniversary of Skynyrd’s debut album and pays tribute to Gary Rossington. The Skynyrd guitarist passed away earlier this month at age 71. Rossington was the last surviving original member of the legendary southern rock band.

Also scheduled for the tribute are Wynonna Judd, Chuck Leavell, Cody Johnson, Paul Rodgers, Warren Haynes and LeAnn Rimes. Billboard notes, “Johnson and Rodgers will lead vocals with Gibbons, with Slash and Haynes on electric guitar for a one-time-only performance of a pair of timeless Lynyrd Skynyrd hits. Nashville studio musicians Ethan Pilzer and Rich Redmond will round out the lineup on bass and drums. Rimes and Judd will fill the role of The Honkettes.”

The CMT Music Awards take place on Sunday, April 2 at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. The ceremony will air live on CBS beginning at 8 PM ET and will stream live on Paramount+.
