Matt Cord is Attending Philadelphia’s VIP Screening of “Air” Tonight
My Night Ahead at a VIP Screening of the New Movie, “Air.”
Tonight I am headed to a VIP screening of a star-studded new film that is getting rave reviews across the internet and other outlets, and I could not be more excited!
I will be in attendance at the Philadelphia Film Society East Theater, formerly the Ritz East, to see the brand-new movie, Air.
The movie is based on the origin of the Air Jordan brand, which has obviously gone on to become very successful.
People forget that before the Air Jordan brand was built at Nike, there were not really any endorsement deals for players.
In fact, players were actually forced to wear the same exact shoes as their teammates up until that point, so the very first Air Jordans were allegedly banned for a time.
But back to the movie!
The film is directed by Ben Affleck, who is also starring in the film alongside Matt Damon, Jason Bateman, Marlon Wayans, Chris Messina, Chris Tucker, and Viola Davis.
Talk about an elite cast!
Movies with only one of those names in them are usually top-notch, let alone all of them in one film!
I guess there is a reason Rotten Tomatoes is already giving the film a 98% rating!
That is totally unheard of!
I am so stoked for tonight and I am sure it is going to be so fun!
I am told that I will not be the only Philadelphia 76ers employee in attendance either!
Rumor has it some current Sixers players might be at the premiere as well as some other Sixers’ staff members and management!
Needless to say, it’ll be a basketball-heavy night for a basketball-based film!
I can’t wait to head to this screening tonight, and report back to all of you my thoughts on the movie!
Though, I’m sure there’ll be nothing but great things to say!
Check back right here tomorrow for my full preview of the movie and a recap of tonight’s premiere!
