There is one concert I am looking forward to seeing this summer that just had a ton of new details released, and I couldn’t be more stoked!
Guns N’ Roses are hitting the road this late summer and fall on the Anything Goes at 2023 Tour for a 17-stop tour across all of North America.
I will actually be catching them on the band’s third stop of the tour on August 11th in Hershey, PA!
That show will be taking place at Hersheypark Stadium, which is an amazing place to catch a show if you never have before!
It is actually right across the street from Hershey Arena where the most legendary performance in basketball history took place when Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points in a single game in 1962.
Now that is a record that will never be broken!
Speaking of records that will never be broken, Guns ‘N Roses performed the other night in Abu Dhabi and actually broke out a ton of records that have not been heard live in decades — some even going all the way back to the 90s!
Some of those songs include “Bad Obsession” and “Pretty Tied Up.”
I wonder if they will break any other old songs out to perform along the tour.
They also just announced the openers for the tour, including The Pretenders, Alice In Chains, Carrie Underwood, and The Warning.
Those are some big names themselves!
Right now, it looks like The Pretenders will be the openers for the show I will be attending, which is cool!
I am no stranger to a Guns N’ Roses concert either!
Back in July of 2016, I broadcasted from their show at The Linc with their former bassist, Tommy Stinson!
That was a fun night and I’m sure I’ll be in for another one in August!
I can’t wait!

My Bike Ride From South Philadelphia to the WMGK Studios
I love when the spring finally hits and the weather starts to warm up!
Of course, it means summer is getting closer and closer.
The Phillies season has just started.
And the NBA Playoffs are underway, with hopefully a deep run in store for the Philadelphia 76ers!
But one of the main reasons I love this time of year is because I can finally ride my bike to and from work again a few times a week!
I love riding my bike as much as I can to work at the WMGK studios at 1 Bala Plaza from my house all the way in South Philly.
It is honestly such a scenic route that I never get tired of riding through.
I pass through the gorgeous Kelly Drive, including the iconic Boathouse Row section of the city!
Also along my trip, I pass the Rocky statue, so whenever I get tired that gives me the extra motivation to last the extra rounds like our favorite fictional boxer would do!
I can’t forget Delancey Street, either!
The homes on that street are beautiful!
I also pass some great establishments in the city during my ride!
One of these is a restaurant called Rouge, which easily has some of the best burgers in the whole city!
Another place I pass is the Mitchell & Ness headquarters!
For all my sports lovers out there, you have to stop by one of their flagship stores because they have some of the best sports gear and memorabilia in the game!
My favorite part of the route is along the Schuylkill Trail!
Then, finally, the homestretch down legendary South Street.
Altogether, it is 10.8 miles total and I do it typically in just under an hour!
I know that information thanks to my Strava map!
I put some photos and videos together from my ride so you guys can see what I see and enjoy!
