4,000 Pounds Of Trash Now Off The Streets Of Philadelphia
Beasley Media Group’s own Joe Bell and Max Rothstein helped get 4,000 pounds of trash off the streets of Philadelphia this past weekend.
On June 18th they were part of a group of 300 WeLoveU volunteers from Philadelphia, Maryland, and New Jersey who converged on Philly. The event is part of ttheir revitalization efforts in cleaning streets in Philadelphia.
The WeLoveU Foundation organized a massive cleanup of the 202nd District, with over 17 teams of volunteers cleaning over 110 streets in just two hours. The volunteers collected an incredible 2 tons of trash, thanks to the efficient coordination of the foundation.
Volunteer drivers were on hand to transport the trash to a central location for disposal, freeing up the volunteers to focus on cleaning. This seamless operation ensured that the cleanup was a success.
The WeLoveU Foundation cannot thank their volunteers enough. The volunteers went above and beyond by distributing cheer-up goodie bags to older community members living alone. This compassionate gesture brightened their day and emphasized the foundation’s commitment to environmental preservation and fostering a sense of care and support within the community.
Joe Bell, Vice President and Market Manager of Beasley Media Group, praised the volunteers’ efforts, emphasizing the world’s scarcity of love, care, and enthusiasm.
