As fall arrives, theme parks across the country come alive with Halloween celebrations. They offer a variety of spooky and entertaining experiences for visitors, from haunted houses that give you goosebumps to lively pumpkin patches. USA Today, 10Best has compiled a list of the ten best theme park Halloween events in the nation.

They had a group of experts put forward the nominees. Then, their editors narrowed it down to the final ones. From there, readers got to have their say and vote on the ultimate winners. "These ten haunted houses/attractions have been voted by our readers as the best in the country for the quality of their actors, set designs, and special effects, as well as value for money," USA Today wrote.

2 Pennsylvania Theme Parks Score a Spot in the Ranking

Securing a place within the top three is Hallo-Fun at Knoebels in Elysburg. On weekends in October, Knoebels Amusement Resort in Central Pennsylvania undergoes a spooky transformation, becoming a playful haunted hub suitable for all ages. Guests can enjoy Halloween-themed treats, games, and various attractions.

Knoebels Amusement Park has a 4.8-star rating with more than 27,000 Google reviews. One reviewer commended the park's diverse range of attractions. "Fun park was fun and had rides that are fun for all family members. From roller coasters to log flume rides and even a haunted house," they wrote.

Additionally, earning the sixth spot on the list is Hersheypark Halloween in Hershey. Visitors can experience thrilling rides and explore a trick-or-treat trail filled with interactive activities for kids. The ranking also emphasizes the "Creatures of the Night" flashlight tour at the nearby ZooAmerica, providing an educational perk to complement the Halloween fun.

Hersheypark has a 4.5-star rating, drawing from over 57,000 Google reviews. A visitor shared their experience, mentioning, "The Dark Nights is what brought me here to Hershey, Pennsylvania all the way from Science Hill, Kentucky."
