Appearing In The Toy Drive Wrap Up Video For Piazza Auto Group
If you have been keeping up with my posts in recent months, then you know I have been taking my talents beyond being behind the microphone and extending them to being in front of the camera — and now I have another video on my resume with Piazza Auto Group!
In recent months, I have shot a video for our cash contest on The Matt Cord Show With Steve Vassalotti, I shot another one for Herr’s Chips, and I can’t forget the video I shot for the Philadelphia 76ers!
I guess my acting skills are putting people on notice throughout the Delaware Valley because opportunities keep popping up!
Pretty soon you’ll see me in a Hollywood blockbuster with my buddy M. Night Shyamalan!
All jokes aside, Piazza Auto Group does an awesome toy drive each year where they team up with The Salvation Army to provide local boys and girls in need with toys during the holiday season, and I got to appear in this year’s wrap-up video!
The video was shot at Piazza Auto Group’s Honda dealership on Baltimore Pike in Springfield. Shout out to Delco!
From all accounts, this year’s toy drive was a complete success and the Piazza Auto Group and The Salvation Army will be helping make the Christmases of a ton of children throughout the area!
That’s what the season is really all about anyway, right? Seeing others happy!
I want to send a big thank you to all the staff members at all 28 locations of the Piazza Auto Group for putting together the toy drive.
Plus, a huge thank you to Tina Costello, our terrific account executive at MGK, and Kali, who did a great job with my cue cards!
Oh, and I can’t forget Jay, who constantly delivers his extraordinary camera work for many of our Beasley Radio Group projects!
Keep an eye out for the video in the coming days, and happy holidays!

Matt Cord's Top Five Journey and Def Leppard Songs
If you were not tuning into The Matt Cord Show With Steve Vassalotti yesterday — and if you weren’t, then what the heck else were you doing — then you may have missed a big announcement that we made involving Journey and Def Leppard!
Steve, Eric Johnson, and I made the official announcement that MGK is bringing both Journey and Def Leppard to Citizens Bank Park this summer on July 23rd, 2024!
Plus, The Steve Miller Band will also be coming to town in support of the two iconic bands.
What could be better than two legendary bands coming together to perform on the same tour in the best city in the world?!
The only thing I can think of is having two legendary bands coming together to perform on the same tour in the best city in the world, and the best classic rock station in the world being involved as well!
If you listen to the station regularly, then you know that both Journey and Def Leppard play on our airwaves daily. If there’s one thing you can count on, it’s that you can hear those two legendary bands on all of MGK’s playlists.
Well, now you have the opportunity to see all those classic songs live this summer.
Tickets go on sale next Friday, December 15th, at 10 a.m., so mark your calendars.
Oh, and I can’t forget to mention that you will have plenty of opportunities to win free tickets through the station.
So keep that dial locked onto 102.9 WMGK all weekend long for your chance to win some free tickets!
Plus, we will have tickets all of next week on The Matt Cord Show With Steve Vassalotti, so make sure you tune in bright and early so you don’t miss out!
I can’t wait for July to roll around to see both Journey and Def Leppard put on a show!
But in the meantime, take a look at my top five songs from each band below!
Enjoy!
