Almost Queen Put On An Amazing Show At The XCite Center in Parx Casino
Over the weekend, I got to see one of the best cover bands I have ever had the privilege to see in my life, and they go by the name of Almost Queen.
Now, I know a lot of you are probably wondering what band Almost Queen covers, and it may be tough to figure out — but I’ll let you in on the secret, they cover one of the best bands of all time, Queen.
I had the chance to see them play at the X-Cite Center at Parx Casino.
You guys already know how much I love Parx Casino, if you remember my Kentucky Derby Day event there the last few years, so going to see a show there just made it that much more special.
Almost Queen Rocks The Stage…
Speaking of special, Almost Queen puts on one hell of a show.
They honestly make you feel like you are seeing the real Queen.
All of the members of the band are outstanding musicians in their own right.
Just check out their cover of my favorite Queen song, “Best Friend” if you don’t believe me!
They harmonize beautifully and really know how to command the stage.
Not only that, but they look exactly like their counterparts in Queen.
To the naked eye, you’d almost think you were looking at a picture of Queen when you see a photo of Almost Queen.
Joe Russo, the band member who does Freddie Mercury’s parts, looks, sounds, and dresses exactly like Freddie — it is uncanny.
Overall the show was incredible, and I got to share it with some of my favorite people!
Check out my sister and my niece Lily loving “Don’t Stop Me Now.”
Plus, I can’t forget to mention the amazing meal we had before the show even started.
We hit The Liberty Bell Gastropub inside of Parx Casino, and it was awesome.
The rotisserie-cooked, Pennsylvania grass-fed prime rib was easily one of the best I have ever had in my entire life.
With the show and meal combined, I think it is safe to say it was a pretty great night spent at Parx Casino.
