Lenny Kravitz Says He's Celibate

Lenny Kravitz shared a very surprising fact about himself in a May interview: Apparently, he's celibate.

Speaking with The Guardian, Kravitz revealed he's celibate and hasn't been in a serious relationship in nine years. This decision appears to stem from a moment from his childhood he touches on in his memoir. Kravitz recalled hearing his father on the phone with a woman and realizing his father was having an affair. When he confronted his father about it, Kravitz said his father told him he would end up doing the same thing eventually.

The Guardian asked Kravitz if his father was right. He admitted his father "became right." Following his divorce from Lisa Bonet, Kravitz said he was "becoming a player." After a while, he didn't care for how that made him feel about himself and decided to change his ways and not let his "desires take over."

Kravitz said being celibate and choosing not to be in a relationship is "a spiritual thing." While he's open to being in a relationship, Kravitz also admitted, "I have become very set in my ways, in the way I live."

On stage or in the studio, these musicians have captured our attention in more ways than one.

Even in a weird profile view like in the photo above, Debbie Harry is still one of the most stunning women ever.
