Sammy Hagar appears to be over touring and instead wants to focus on one-off shows or residencies.

The Red Rocker talked about his performing future in a new interview with the Miami Herald. He said, "I don't think I want to go on tour anymore. I hate to say that, because I don't want to piss my fans off."

Hagar added, "I keep telling my manager, ‘Don't take any tours, let me do this residency.' If I like it enough, I'll do another one. And if that's successful I'll do another one, and I can squeeze a few more years out of my career."

Clearly, Hagar still loves to perform, and anyone who has seen him lately knows he still sounds great live. However, it's understandable that the physical toll of touring might be wearing on the 77-year-old singer.

Fortunately for Hagar, he has a Las Vegas residency lined up later this year at Dolby Live at Park MGM. Hagar will be joined by Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani, and Kenny Aronoff during the residency, which is made up of nine shows taking place on April 30 and May 2, 3, 7, 9, 10, 14, 16, and 17. Full details on the residency can be found at ParkMGM.MGMresorts.com.

Hagar's full list of 2025 performances can be found on RedRocker.com.
