Le Tour de Downbeach to Raise Funds for St. Jude’s on June 1

Members of the public are invited to participate in Le Tour de Downbeach on Sunday, June 1. The bicycle ride will take participants through the seaside communities of Ventnor, Atlantic City, Margate, and Longport. 

This family-friendly 12-mile bicycle tour, which begins at 9:30 a.m. behind the Ventnor Library, will raise funds toward a donation to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in memory of one of the event's original organizers, Ann Marie Wiesen. The tour ends in Margate with a barbecue hosted by Tomatoe's restaurant. Free water ice will be provided by the Margate Dairy Bar and Burger.

Pre-registration is $25 per rider or $20 each for four or more family riders. Day-of-ride registration is $30 per rider or $25 each for four or more family riders.

The Margate Business Association, Ventnor Business Association, Borough of Longport, and Atlantic City collaborate each year to organize this annual event.
