The two companies joined in October 2023 to serve Center City, Old City, Northern Liberties, Fairmount, and University City, all areas served by two of Gopuff's microfulfillment centers.
With 16 centers now operating across the Philadelphia region, Gopuff's delivery footprint extends to much of Philadelphia and towns on the Routes 1 and 476 borders. These communities include Bala Cynwyd, Brookhaven, Folsom, Media, and Wallingford.
The Philadelphia-based Gopuff, founded by two Drexel University students who likened their concept to a “Wawa on wheels,” aims to deliver products to customers in as little as 15 minutes.
According to a Philadelphia Inquirer report, Gopuff representative Brigid Gorham said that approximately 80% of Gopuff's Starbucks orders include at least one item from the company's existing product inventory, including beer and wine, beverages, cleaning supplies, frozen foods, groceries, and snacks.
