Several cultural events are taking place this month in Chester CountyExplore the following June event highlights:

BalletX at Longwood Gardens

Philadelphia-based ballet company BalletX will perform on Thursday, June 5, at 7:30 p.m. at Longwood Gardens' Open Air theater. The show will present three works that express themes of exploration and transformation. Reserved seating is $28-$42. Tickets include admission to the gardens.

Wayne Music Festival

Fifteen national artists will take the stage at the annual Wayne Music Festival on Saturday, June 7. The event is free to the public. Headlining performers will include The Ocean Blue, Black Joe Lewis, and Wild Pink.

Turks Head Music Festival

Head to West Chester for the Turks Head Music Festival. Various local foods, vendors, crafts, and music performances in Everhart Park will run throughout the day on Sunday, June 8, from noon to 7 p.m. The event will feature seven local bands and art from 70 vendors.

Kennett Summerfest

Taking place on Sunday, June 8, in downtown Kennett Square, Kennett Summerfest invites guests to enjoy food and drinks from local vendors. The ticketed event will feature workshops on floral arranging, wine and cheese pairings, and mocktails.

Summer Biergarten

Historic Sugartown's summer Biergarten will offer a pop-up evening event that will include live music, food trucks, and craft beer from local breweries, including Malvern's Locust Lane Brewery and Chadds Ford Winery. The event will take place on Thursday, June 12, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a second pop-up on Thursday, Aug. 21, also from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Both events will be held at 273 Boot Road in Malvern.
