SALT Performing Arts to Host ‘Anastasia the Musical’

SALT Performing Arts will present Anastasia the Musical at SALT Chester Springs. This performance will run from Nov. 21 to Dec. 14 at 1645 Art School Road in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania.

Directed by Wendy Mirto with music direction by Emily Merow and choreography by Val Dixon, the production features a notable cast including Sara Malloy as Anya, Andy Patterson as Dmitry, and Kai Kasiguran as Gleb.

The Broadway-inspired production follows a young woman named Anya as she embarks on a journey to uncover her past. Its storyline is set against the backdrop of Imperial Russia and 1920s Paris, featuring a Tchaikovsky-inspired score, lavish costumes, and romantic elements.

“Once again, SALT is pulling out all the stops with dazzling costumes, a gorgeous set and special effects, and a top-notch Broadway-quality cast and crew,” said Lauren McComas, president and artistic director of SALT Performing Arts, in a statement shared with MyChesCo.

A Champagne Opening Night is set for Nov. 21 at 7 p.m., with a schedule of matinee and evening performances throughout the performance's run. As part of SALT's partnership with the Chester County Food Bank, audiences are encouraged to bring nonperishable items; $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Food Bank.
