Several Philadelphia-area holiday attractions are remaining open into the new year, continuing holiday experiences into January or February.

Ice Skating

Dilworth Park and Center City rinks operate through February. City Hall's ice rink at Dilworth Park will be open every day through Feb. 23. Admission is $9 for adults and $6 for children ages 10 and younger. Skate rentals are an additional $10. Guests can also enjoy the Rothman Othopaedics Cabin, which features a heated interior, snacks, and a full bar. 

The Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest will keep its National Hockey League (NHL)-sized rink, arcade, lodge, and fire pits open every day through March 1. Admission is $5, and skate rental is $12. Private fire pits and cabins can be reserved on the Winterfest's website.

Franklin Square

Winter in Franklin Square features a lineup of holiday-themed attractions. The Electrical Spectacle Light Show runs every 30 minutes from 5 p.m. to closing until Feb. 23. Frosty's Fireside Lounge will also be open for guests seeking festive cocktails, hot chocolate, or classic comfort food through Feb. 26. Street curling rinks and mini golf courses are also available through Feb. 25 and 26.

Street curling rinks are available for rent for $40 per hour from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mini golf admission is $15 for adults and $12 for children from 3 to 12 years old.

Longwood Gardens

Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square presents a “Longwood Christmas” experience, complete with fountain and light shows, through Jan. 11. 

Jewels, lights, wreaths, and ornaments adorn the thousands of flowers, plants, and trees on display. When the sun sets, guests can witness more than 500,000 lights illuminating outside, along with fountain displays themed to holiday classics.

Timed admission tickets are required and can be purchased on the Longwood Gardens website

Peddler's Village

Peddler's Village in Lahaska will keep its light display and more than 60 local businesses open through Jan. 18. On Mondays and Tuesdays, the village will host its December Enchanted Evenings, with extended hours until 8 p.m. Guests can also explore 125 gingerbread sculptures, walk through a tunnel of lights, and enjoy live entertainment.

From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Jan. 9, 10, 16, and 17, the Fire & Frost Fun display will feature ice-carving demonstrations and professional fire-breathing, spinning, and juggling shows. Visitors can also enjoy music from a live DJ, fire pits, and outdoor food and beverage stands throughout the area. Stilt walkers and a Jack Frost Scavenger Hunt will also take place throughout the village.
