The Blanche A. Nixon/Cobbs Creek Library invites babies, toddlers, siblings, and their children of all ages to participate in their weekly events like Read, Baby, Read storytime and playgroup. This literacy and playtime program is held every Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the library, located at 5800 Cobbs Creek Parkway (59th Street and Baltimore Avenue) in Philadelphia.

According to an event description from The Free Library of Philadelphia, each session features stories, songs, rhymes, and bounces, followed by a playgroup where caregivers can engage with their children.
