American broadcast journalist and television talk show host Tamron Hall was honored with an award in Philadelphia for her commitment to excellence in media.
Hall, an Emmy Award winner, received a LEGEND award presented during the WDAS Women of Excellence Luncheon. The 10th annual event was held at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown.

Hall is an alumna of Temple University and began her career with an early internship at WDAS-FM.
"Every time I travel back to Philadelphia, it reinvigorates me... Being honored in this way, amongst other great women...means the world to me," said Tamron Hall, host and executive producer of the Tamron Hall show, in a statement shared by Action News 6abc.
According to the show's website, Tamron Hall is one of television's highest-rated daytime shows. The show broadcasts from New York City and airs nationwide in syndication.
