When Annie Haslam and I get together, we barely come up for air. I edited this convo down from 40 minutes to 16 and STILL we could’ve talked for days! Annie is going to be performing with the band at The Keswick later this month (Oct. 27) and if you’ve never experienced Renaissance, you just wait! The show here at the Keswick will be particularly special as they will be playing with a 10 piece chamber orchestra (one of only four shows that will include the orchestra. This will be the first time in 40 years that they have played with an orchestra!) I kept Renaissance albums on my turntable all through college and Annie STILL has that five octave range that will absolutely mesmerize you. Annie’s artistic talents extend to the canvas as well and her artwork is incorporated into the show. She was part of the scene during the swingin’ London days and she gives us a glimpse into her past through a story or two with Beatles’ connections. Give a listen then get your tix quick!
