APRIL IS AUTISM MONTH!

As a mom of a teenager with Aspergers, I am encouraged by the successes of John Elder Robison. He is the author of the New York Times bestselling LOOK ME IN THE EYE and the recently published BE DIFFERENT: ADVENTURES OF A FREE-RANGE ASPERGIAN WITH PRACTICAL ADVICE FOR ASPERGIANS, MISFITS, FAMILIES AND TEACHERS. He will be lecturing and book-signing at the Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support at St. Joe’s on April 12 for their 7th Annual Autism Day. Click below to listen to my most recent interview with this fascinating man who has lived quite the unconventional life. He has strong ties to the rock world too, having worked with Kiss on their dazzling stage effects, as well as Pink Floyd and other bands!
