This morning to commemorate Pete Townshend’s 65th birthday, we played an old in-studio interview (one of the most memorable and magic of John’s career) with The Who’s leader. It came from an extensive interview in 1993 where Pete casually pulled out his guitar and strummed what he dubbed “my best song”, Pinball Wizard. A classic rock radio moment, indeed. Enjoy!
