Today, Gavin Rossdale joins me for the second time this year, first time in-person, on Talkin’ Rock. I talked to Gavin a couple months ago on the phone, but when they asked me if I wanted to talk with Gavin before the show, I jumped at the chance.
We talked about the tour and different places to play during the cold-weather seasons, the new album – The Mind Plays Tricks On You – his vegan lifestyle (or lack thereof) past tours w/ STP and The Cult and his mindset taking the stage. He tells me what it’s like to be a rock-star dad and the give and take of both. Bush played a few shows before the final Soundgarden show as Gavin tells me his thoughts on Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington. The 25th anniversary of Bush’s debut album is coming up and Gavin tells me about that period of his life and the music industry.
Al Beck fills us in on Rock News surrounding the #1 album in the country, a massive album that was saved by Florida strippers, a rumored tour, plus, Sony is re-releasing something that came out 40 years.
Thank You for listening! 248-586-2988 to leave feedback. 5 star ratings and reviews on iTunes are always appreciated.
