Talkin’ Rock with Jackyl’s Jesse James Dupree and Skillet’s John Cooper
Two singers for the price of one on today’s Talkin’ Rock podcast…
Up first, it’s my old friend, Jesse James Dupree. There’s not many people in this business I’ve known longer than Jesse. We talk about the start of the band and why he began playing a chainsaw in the first place. He tells me about playing Woodstock and why he got naked on that big stage. He lets us know what Jackyl is doing now and what Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame member their working with, his relationship with the legendary Brian Johnson of AC/DC, advice from his father and tons more.
I talked to John Cooper from Skillet on Monday via the live Instagram interview. I thought I’d share it, for people who might have missed it. He tells me what he’s been up to with the lock down, celebrating his birthday in quarantine, what the band has been doing, his return to vinyl and more.
Enjoy!
