Benefiting the Veterans Multi-Service Center

WMGK DJs will be broadcasting live all day from our event center and encouraging you, our dear listeners, to make a donation to help the heroes who have put their lives on the line for our country. Listen for guest appearances, prizes and more – all aimed at raising funds to support veterans in need through Veterans Multi-Service Center.

Every Dollar Counts: Even small contributions can make a significant impact on a veteran’s life.

2. Monthly Salute Program

• This donation option allows listeners to assist veterans each month for a year. You can arrange to make a monthly $15 donation for one year via an online or phone donation on the Radiothon date to 1-800-678-WMGK (9645).

• 11am: Vinyl Box Set: Eagles, Live From The Forum 2018 4LP.
  • 4LPs on 180-gram vinyl, featuring 26 classic tracks- over 2 hours of music. Recorded live at The Forum, Inglewood, California on September 12, 14, and 15, 2018.
• 12noon: Big Gig Big Night Out: A pair of seats in the Pit and parking for MGK’s Big Gig (Doobie Brothers and the Coral Reefer Band, 8/13 at FM Pavilion).
• 1pm: A signed red electric guitar from: Angus Young of AC/DC.
• 2pm: Vinyl Box Set: Van Halen, 1986-1996, 5LPs: studio albums and rarities.
  • 5 LPs remastered from the original tapes by Bernie Grundman. Studio albums: 5150, OU812, For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, and Balance. Plus, Studio Rarities.
• 3pm: Vinyl Box Set: The Rolling Stones, Goats Head Soup 4XLP Set.
  • Heavyweight 180-gram vinyl, including the original album new stereo mix, rarities and alternative mixes featuring ‘Scarlet’ with Jimmy Page, and a double LP of the legendary 1973 concert: A Brussels Affair.
• 4pm: 2 for The Who: a pair of tickets to see The Who TWICE: 8/21 at Wells Fargo Center and 8/23 at AC Boardwalk Hall AND 2 vinyl sets: Live at Shea Stadium 1982 & Live at Wembly with Orchestra.
• 5pm: An autographed electric guitar from Lynyrd Skynyrd, presented by Hell House Whiskey, signed by Johnny Van Zant and Rickey Medlocke.

All funds go to the Veterans Multi-Service Center in Philadelphia. Their mission is to provide services, programs, opportunities and advancements to Veterans of the U.S. military and their families.
