Rest In Peace 5k –

Join the MGK Classic Rock Squad for a run through the Laurel Hill cemetery.  It’s the most unique & interesting 5k you’ll find this fall season. 
THE RACE COURSE
Organized by the Friends of Laurel Hill Cemetery, the Rest in Peace 5K is a challenging run through Laurel Hill Cemetery, a National Historic Landmark located in Philadelphia. Don’t let the beautiful scenery fool you; the course is packed with plenty of hills, twists and turns! Compete solo or with a team.

COSTUME CREATIVITY
You’ll be in a cemetery during October so now isn’t the time to get shy about your costume creativity. Grab your partner or your friends and beat out the competition for Best Couple or Group Costume. Want to keep all of the cool prizes to yourself? Show up by yourself in something outstanding and head home with Best Overall Costume.

A ‘KILLER’ AFTER PARTY
Following the run, join us for our after-party featuring free beer, spooky treats, and great Halloween inspired classic rock soundtrack provided by MGK.
Prizes will be given out for best costumes and to the winners of the run. Don’t forget your wallets. Buy some raffle tickets for a chance to win some top-notch prizes.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Friends of Laurel Hill Cemetery, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works to preserve and promote the historical character of Laurel Hill Cemetery through educational programs and public outreach.
