The Annual MGK Turkey Drop, presented by ACME Markets, is the largest one-day food gathering event in Philadelphia. The MGK air staff spread out around the tri-state area collecting turkey & monetary donations for CityTeam Philadelphia, an organization that provides holiday meals to less fortunate families in the Philadelphia region.

Turkey & monetary donations will be collected on Tuesday, November 21st from 6a-noon (Kimmel Center) and 7a-noon (select ACME locations) OR donate online NOW!

How To Donate
There are two ways you can help WMGK & CityTeam Philadelphia provide holiday meals to the less fortunate in our community.
1. On Tuesday, November 21st, you can donate frozen turkeys, cash, checks, and “free turkey” coupons at any of our collection locations.
Checks should be made to: CityTeam Philadelphia. No food other than turkeys will be accepted.
2. You can make a secure online donation now.
We thank our friends at Dietz & Watson for assisting us in transporting all of our turkeys from our ACME Markets locations to the CityTeam Philadelphia offices.
Collection Locations
Donations will be accepted at the following locations on 11/21.
1. KIMMEL CENTER (300 S. Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19102) – The Matt Cord Show with Steve Vassalotti will broadcast live & accept your donations. Jose Garces Group will provide delicious free hot chocolate for those who stop by.
