MGK Brew Blast 2024 took place on the deck of the New Jersey Battleship on Saturday, September 7th.
Listeners and staff enjoyed samples of cold beers and the sound of MGK’s House Band, Porch, during their live performance. They were also given swag from Live Casino and had the chance to win prizes from the MGK table.
Guests took a self-guided tour of the historic battleship before making their way to the main tent, where the beer tasting began! Over 50 different beers were available to sample, and there were even some other alcoholic drinks to try, like White Claw and Beat Box.
A lot of the Breweries were local Philadelphia or South Jersey-based, giving people new and unique flavors they cannot find anywhere else! We love being able to support some of our favorites while finding new ones to mix into the rotation. Some fan favorites included Double Nickel, Evil Genius, Victory, and Cape May.
It was a beautiful day for the MGK Brew Blast on the Camden Waterfront with views of our Philadelphia Skyline… until the rain came in! While the rain left as quickly as it came in, it left all of us wet! It also ended Porch’s set early, but they were able to keep the jams going once it passed with a smaller set. That just means you’ll have to come out to MGK’s Big Bad Bonfire (stay tuned for the announcement soon) to see them play again, for real!
