This week, over at WMGK’s sister station down the hall, 97.5 The Fanatic, the morning show there was hosting, what they called, their Open House Week.

They opened their doors to a live audience for fans to come in and watch the show in person in our brand-new performance studio — which is beautiful by the way!

In addition to having fans in the building, The John Kincade Show also welcomed a ton of guests throughout the week to have on air and better the experience for the fans that showed up to watch.

They had journalists like Zach Berman from The Athletic show up to discuss the Eagles.

They had the head coach of the Philadelphia Union, Jim Curtin, stop by to get the fans ready for the new season ahead.

Side note — congrats to The Fanatic for becoming official partners with the Union and being the official radio home to hear Union games this year!

They even had current players from our various professional sports teams in the building like the newest 76ers player, Jalen McDaniels.

One player I got to work early to see one day this week before my show started was Sean Couturier of the Flyers!

I’ll post a picture for you below!

Well, all good things come to an end, and today was the last day of Open House Week.

But the guys over there definitely went out with a bang!

Or in the famous words of Kate Scott, a bang bang, if you will!

Today, they decided to go in a Sixers-heavy direction, and I was a guest for a segment where I got to talk about the Sixers this year and my job as the public address announcer for the team!

I had a blast talking to the whole crew!

It was that much more enjoyable after the huge comeback win last night by the 76ers!

What a performance that was to come back from the All-Star break.

The earlier mentioned Kate Scott was also in the building!

And no Kate Scott appearance would be complete without Bang-Bang Georges Niang stopping by as well!

Georges actually came down the hall to the WMGK studio and snagged a quick picture with me!

I’ll have that for you below!

All in all, it was a great appearance over on The Fanatic today and I had a ton of fun!

Congrats to The John Kincade Show for being the longest-running mornings sports talk show in Philadelphia now!
