The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced its 2023 nominees just this morning (February 1.) Less than a day into the Fan Vote, and the results are already looking very interesting.

As with previous years, the public will have the opportunity to voice their choice via the Fan Vote at through April 28. Fans are allowed to vote once per day during the Fan Vote period. Visitors of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland will also have the opportunity to vote in person. The “Fans’ Ballot” will comprise the top five artists from the fan vote and will be counted among the other ballots filled out by various artists, historians, and music industry professionals.

As of publishing, here are the current standings of the Fan Vote:

    24,694 votes.

  • 2. Willie Nelson

    22,485 votes.

  • 3. George Michael

    21,653 votes.

  • 4. Soundgarden

    21,128 votes.

  • 5. Iron Maiden

    20,242 votes.

  • 6. Warren Zevon

    16,344 votes.

  • 7. Rage Against the Machine

    16,299 votes.

  • 8. Sheryl Crow

    16,066 votes.

  • 9. The Spinners

    13,778 votes.

  • 10. Joy Division + New Order

    13,203 votes.

  • 11. Kate Bush

    11,881 votes.

  • 12. The White Stripes

    10,753 votes.

  • 13. Missy Elliott

    8,898 votes.

  • 14. A Tribe Called Quest

    7,404 votes.
