Trifecta

The Nebraska Cornhuskers stretches to make a catch in the first quarter as they are defended by the Ohio State Buckeyes.

It’s our favorite time of the week because it’s the end of the week and time for a weekend full of sports. There’s nothing better than 12 straights hours of football people, so let’s add some money into the equation and make it legendary! Thanks to our friends at Dimers.com we’ve got a parlay below so let’s drive in.

  • LEG 1 – Ohio State Buckeyes at Nebraska Cornhuskers, Saturday, November 6th, 2021

The Buckeyes offense is basically summed up in one word, lethal. Freshman quarterback CJ Stroud is molding in to one of best quarterbacks in the nation at the perfect time. He’s thrown for 2270 yards on the year including 23 TDS.

Other the other side, Nebraska quarterback possesses that dual threat like Kyler Murray where he can pass and tuck it and take off at will. On the year he has 2264 yards with 12 TDS and he also leads the team in rushing yards with 451 yards and 11 TDS.

I fully expect this one to have a ton of scoring. Ohio State leads the country in scoring with 47.2 points per game and Nebraska comes in at 27.2 per game.

    This one goes over.

    PICK: Total points OVER 65.5

  • Leg 2 – Missouri Tigers at Georgia Bulldogs, Saturday, November 6th, 2021

This one might shock some people. We understand Georgia might hang a national title this year, but their offenses scares me.

Yes, the defense is arguably one of the best ever to play on the NCAAF gridiron but offense is still just as important.

Last week’s 34-7 victory against Florida was very defensively oriented as Georgia struggled to move the ball against Florida’s defense. 21 points were scored in 2:16 left in the first half to break it open.

By no means do I see Missouri completing the upset here, but I think the Tigers cover this absurdly large spread in this contest.

PICK: Missouri to COVER spread (+39.5)

  • Leg 3 – Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints, Sunday, November 7th, 2021

The Atlanta Falcons are one of the hardest teams to understand. They can look so well at times, and awful 30 seconds later. With Calvin Ridley taking a leave from football, they are scarce at the skills positions, but I like their spot this week.

Jameis Winston is out with a torn ACL, so look for Taysom Hill to be the Saints starter this week barring any health concerns with him. This takes value away from all-pro running Alvin Kamara due to Hill’s rushing tendencies.

Look for a huge game out of Kyle Pitts here, and look for Atlanta to come out of NOLA with a W, but let’s play it safe by taking the points. Want more picks like these? Visit Dimers’ Quick Picks section for the best free sports betting picks.

PICK: Saints to COVER spread (+6.5)
