Today (July 13th) marks the 31st anniversary of Live Aid. The legendary benefit show, which took place at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia and Wembley Stadium in London, helped raise more than $125 million for African famine relief efforts and was broadcast live in 110 countries and was watched by over a billion people worldwide.
