App Adaptation of “David Bowie Is” Exhibit Launching on Bowie’s Birthday
David Bowie fans will be getting an outstanding gift on what would’ve been the late icon’s 72nd birthday.
Set for launch on January 8th, 2019 is the app adaptation of “David Bowie Is,” the incredibly popular traveling art exhibit that chronicled Bowie’s amazing career.
According to the official website, the “augmented reality” app will feature “over five hundred high resolution captures of Bowie’s costumes, sketches, notes, handwritten lyrics, music videos and original works of art are presented in striking arrangements and immersive settings, with 60 new items added to the original touring exhibition.”
