The official trailer for the Elton John film Rocketman is now available, and it’s clearly setting itself up to be the next huge music blockbuster.
Rocketman stars Taron Egerton as Sir Elton and is being billed as “an epic musical fantasy,” not a biopic, and rightfully so. This certainly won’t be your average by-the-numbers storytelling. This is something far grander, and considering its subject, fans shouldn’t expect anything less.
Rocketman also stars Jamie Bell as songwriting partner Bernie Taupin, Richard Madden as former manager/boyfriend John Reid and Bryce Dallas Howard and John’s mother, Sheila.
