HOLLYWOOD, CA - SEPTEMBER 25: Steven Adler arrives at the screening of Anchor Bay Films' "Nothing Left To Fear" at ArcLight Cinemas on September 25, 2013 in Hollywood, California.

Steven Adler, former drummer for Guns N’ Roses, was taken to the hospital yesterday evening (June 28) after reportedly stabbing himself at his home.

TMZ broke the news and reports that someone called 911 from Adler’s home around 6:30 PM saying someone had stabbed themselves. Adler was then admitted to a local hospital, and sources say his injuries are “non-life threatening.”

Adler was GN’R’s drummer from 1985-1990 when he was then fired from the band because of his issues with substance abuse. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Guns N’ Roses as part of the 2012 class.

Adler was slated to take part in GN’R’s “Not In This Lifetime” tour, but he suffered a back injury that required surgery. He did, however, step behind the kit for a couple of songs at two shows during GN’R’s initial run of tour dates in 2016.
