Foreigner’s Mick Jones celebrates his birthday today (December 27), and while he’s the only original member of Foreigner still in the band, there has been a number of performances in recent years where he reunited with singer Lou Gramm.
One of those performances took place on January 11, 2018 before a sold-out crowd at Madison Square Garden during one of Billy Joel’s residency shows. Joel introduced both Jones and Gramm, and they performed two of their biggest hits, “Urgent,” with Joel, and “Cold As Ice,” which saw Jones take a seat at The Piano Man’s piano for the performance.
