With the Coronavirus pandemic shutting nearly the entire music/touring industry down, many artists have taken to social media to express their concerns about COVID-19 and are encouraging their fans to be respectful of others during this time.

Here's a round-up of notable artist reactions.

Paul Stanley

Stanley strongly encouraged followers to practice social distancing by sharing via Twitter, "PLEASE. It may seem surreal. It may seem inconceivable. We are about to see illness, deaths and an overwhelmed hospital system never seen in our lifetime. Businesses are closing. This is NOT an opportunity for get-togethers or parties. SOCIAL DISTANCING IS THE MINIMUM. STAY HOME."

Brian May

The Queen guitarist shared via Instagram, "Well, look at it this way..we’re all in this together. Thanks, Monty Python. Yes - this is Planet Earth enveloped by CoronaVirus COVID 19. But all things must pass."

Aerosmith

Aerosmith shared the following via Twitter: "#BeatTheVirus - You may have it and not know it. Don't spread the disease. Stay home as much as you can. Wash your hands often and try to keep 6 feet apart. Now is the time to engage online and not in person. It is not just about you, it's about us...All of us!"

Nikki Sixx

The Motley Crue bassist shared via Instagram, "Wouldn’t it be great to see people stop self-promoting right now and turn towards friends and family instead? Reach out to people around you who might be scared or need help. Also, do we really need more fear-mongering? The news is doing a great job at that already… maybe find a way to dampen down the hysteria."

David Lee Roth

Diamond Dave shared via Twitter, "Somebody get me a doctor, just kidding. Take your whiskey home, not kidding. Love, Dave."

Alex Lifeson

Lifeson shared via Rush's Twitter, "Just returned from spring break with my grandkids. We are all self-quarantining for days. All travelers should. Looking forward to getting caught up on Netflix! Send your top viewing suggestions."

(Sir Paul McCartney inducting Foo Fighters? C'mon now!) She's also well-versed in etiquette and extraordinarily nice. #TransRightsAreHumanRights
