Guns N' Roses surprised fans last night (August 3) at Boston's Fenway Park by debuting a new track of sorts.
The track is called "Absurd," and it's a reworking of "Silkworms," a previously unreleased track reportedly from the recording sessions for Chinese Democracy. Per Setlist.fm, the track formally known as "Silkworms" was last performed back in 2001.
Axl Rose introed the song by telling the crowd, "Some of you might have heard this under another name, but this is really kind of absurd for us to try this. Ha, ha, ha...Wasn't that funny? And they don't even know the joke yet. Okay, so, this is called 'Absurd'!" (WARNING: NSFW language ahead.)
