The former Styx singer shared, in part, "Bless you, Dolly Parton...I have written this repeatedly, but here goes yet again: Change the name of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to the Contemporary Music Hall of Fame and most of the criticism will subside. No, not all, but most and then you can include Dolly. Or whoever you like."

He added regarding Dolly's nomination, "This just in: Tiger Woods just inducted into Cooperstown because he uses a stick to hit a ball...Remember every time you take up space with an inductee that has NO business being included (talented that they may be) you rob those like: Foreigner, Jethro Tull, Pat Benatar, Soundgarden, Uncle Ted, Rage Against the Machine, Bad Company, Supertramp, The Guess Who, ELP, Three Dog Night, etc." (DeYoung's full remarks can be read below.)

(Sir Paul McCartney inducting Foo Fighters? C'mon now!) She's also well-versed in etiquette and extraordinarily nice. #TransRightsAreHumanRights
