Dolly Parton: Hear Her Cover of Queen’s ‘We Are The Champions’
Dolly Parton released the latest preview to her upcoming rock album: A cover of Queen’s “We Are The Champions.”
The country icon doesn’t stray very far from the original. Nonetheless, she still delivers stunning vocals that would surely make Freddie Mercury proud. The cover ends with a nod to “We Will Rock You.” However, Parton just sticks with the chorus and doesn’t sing any of the verses.
Rockstar comes out on November 17 and is available for pre-save on streaming platforms here. Meanwhile, fans can pre-order physical copies of the album at DollyParton.com.
In a statement on the album, Parton said, in part, “I am very honored and privileged to have worked with some of the greatest iconic singers and musicians of all time and to be able to sing all the iconic songs throughout the album was a joy beyond measure.”
The list of guests on this LP really is just incredible. Some of the biggest names in rock history appear on this album. Keep scrolling to see who’s all confirmed!
