Debbie Harry remains one of rock's coolest figures of all time, and she has more than enough stories to prove it.

She shared some of those stories and more in her 2019 book Face It: A Memoir. Harry shared one story in particular about hanging out with David Bowie and Iggy Pop.

During this hangout, Bowie and Pop were on the hunt for some cocaine, but unfortunately, their coke connection in New York recently died. Fortunately for them, Harry had a gram of coke a friend gave to her, even though she didn't care much for the drug.

After fetching the coke, she said Bowie and Pop "sucked it right up in one swoop." As a kind of "thank you," Bowie then pulled out his penis for Harry. She noted in the book, " ... David’s size was notorious, and he loved to pull it out with both men and women. It was so funny, adorable and sexy."

Harry later talk about this incident in an interview with The Sunday Times. She felt it was Bowie's unique way of thanking her for the cocaine. Harry noted she didn't touch Bowie's penis or anything, but did think "very nice."

She added about the late music icon, " ... It’s too bad you can’t ask him. I guess I was sort of flattered, you know? He’s one of the great men that I admire in the music world, clearly a genius."

David Bowie's Latest Grammy Win

Speaking of David Bowie, the late artist won the Grammy Award for Best Music Film in 2024 for Moonage Daydream.

Director Brett Morgen accepted the award during the Premiere Ceremony. Morgen said during his speech how Bowie's team that handles his estate and his work essentially handed over a ton of material for him to sort through for the film. He expressed gratitude for that access to Bowie's archives. Morgen closed his speech by thanking Bowie, who he called "the single greatest artist who's walked the face of this Earth."

Moonage Daydream was well-received by fans and critics alike and is available for streaming on Max.

KISS released Dynasty on May 23, 1979. At the time, the album got a lot of heat from fans for its heavy disco influence.

However, as the years have passed, it’s hard to deny some of the disco earworms on this album.  In honor of its release, here are five classic rock disco tracks we all love.

KISS - “I Was Made For Loving You”

This ridiculously catchy track features a songwriting credit from Desmond Child, who also helped co-write massive hits for Aerosmith (“Angel,” “Dude (Looks Like A Lady)”), Bon Jovi (“Living On A Prayer,” “Bad Medicine”) and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts (“I Hate Myself For Loving You”.)

Blondie - “Heart of Glass”

This song was controversial for two reasons:  Blondie was a punk band and because the song features the phrase “pain in the ass,” which made some radio stations nervous to play it.  What a simpler time!

Pink Floyd - “Run Like Hell”

While not an overt dive into disco, you have to admit that this track from The Wall is definitely disco-influenced, at the very least. (And it’s just such a killer groove.)

The Rolling Stones - “Miss You”

Play “Miss You” at any wedding, and I guarantee the dance floor will be immediately packed. Plus, this might be the hookiest hook Mick Jagger and Keith Richards ever wrote.

Rod Stewart - “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?”

A list about classic rock disco tracks just isn’t complete without this Rod Stewart gem.  We’ve all danced to it in front of our bedroom mirrors. We’ve all cranked it while in the car.  And if you say you haven’t, you’re either a liar or just don’t know how to live.

(Sir Paul McCartney inducting Foo Fighters? C'mon now!) She's also well-versed in etiquette and extraordinarily nice. #TransRightsAreHumanRights
