ICYMI: Axl Rose Pays Tribute to his Deceased Dog At GN’R Gig
Axl Rose‘s late dog got her due last week during Guns N’ Roses‘ show in Zurich, Switzerland.
Word has surfaced that during the concert the group covered AC/DC‘s “Whole Lotta Rose” in honor of the pooch, who passed away earlier the day of the show.
Rose, of course, sang “Rosie” many times last year as fill-in frontman for AC/DC, and he told the Zurich crowd that, “When I’m singing this song, I actually in my head, I see this little dog of ours with me on stage ’cause she’s always of f***ing happy. Before we came to the show today, she passed away. So we’ll dedicate this to her. Kind of the whole show for me in mind has been for Rosie.”

GNR is in Europe through July 15, then kicks off the next North American leg of its “Not In This Lifetime…” Tour on July 27 in St. Louis.
The group has hinted that new music may be on the way, but no details have been announced yet.
