Mick Jagger Releases New Song Featuring Dave Grohl
Mick Jagger surprised fans with the release of the new song “Eazy Sleazy” featuring Dave Grohl.
Jagger shared the tune along with the following statement:
“I wanted to share this song that I wrote about eventually coming out of lockdown, with some much needed optimism – thank you to Dave Grohl for jumping on drums, bass and guitar, it was a lot of fun working with you on this – hope you all enjoy ‘Eazy Sleazy.'”
Grohl said of the track, “It’s hard to put into words what recording this song with Sir Mick means to me. It’s beyond a dream come true. Just when I thought life couldn’t get any crazier……and it’s the song of the summer, without a doubt!!”
The song is rife with cheeky lyrics like this verse:
That’s a pretty mask
But never take a chance
Tik Tok stupid dance
Took a Samba class
I landed on my ass
Trying to write a tune
You better hook me up to Zoom
See my poncey book
Teach myself to cook
Way too much TV
It’s lobotomizing me
Think I’ve put on weight
I’ll have another drink then I’ll clean the kitchen sink
“Eazy Sleazy” can be heard below.
