Billy Joel was still relatively unknown back in 1973 when he was booked to play the Roxy Theatre in Northampton, Pa. by then WSAN DJ Denny Somach. Due to WSAN’s airplay of the COLD SPRING HARBOR album, Billy was enthusiastically received by the Roxy audience and Denny had the forethought to place a cassette recorder onstage to document the show. (that’s Denny and his WSAN radio station crew from back in the day)
