On August 11, Ray Koob presided as 4 of the best classic rock bands cover bands in the area – Between Dreams, Sweet Revenge, The Frequency, The Sweet Spot – went head to head for the chance to advance to the WMGK House Band Finals and become the next WMGK House Band. Sweet Revenge scored the highest on the judges scores cards and advanced to the Finals.
