Sometimes at both my jobs, I get gifted some pretty cool things, whether that be as a radio DJ here at WMGK, or my public address announcing gig for the Philadelphia 76ers.
Some of the great things I have received in the past include awesome Sixers gear, including hoodies, hats, and even the free giveaways they do at the games.
And I would never be one to complain about all the free food we get here at WMGK from time to time from many of the fantastic restaurants in the greater Philly area!
But recently I was gifted one of the cooler things I have ever been given by a player on the 76ers.
And not just any player.
A player that has an MVP under his belt, and was a member of the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team – meaning he is considered one of the greatest players of all time.
He also has one of the most notable beards of all time as well!
If you have not guessed by now, the player I am talking about is none other than James Harden!
Harden gave me a pair of his new shoes by Adidas!
The official model name for the pair he gave me is the Adidas Harden Scarlet 7s.
Not only did he give me a pair, but he also gave a bunch of other Sixers employees a pair as well!
I just love my size 11s, they fit very tightly, which is perfect for playing some hoops in!
Plus, they are really shiny!
I even wore my pair when I made an appearance on Fox 29’s Good Day Philadelphia earlier in the week!
So I want to send a shout-out to James for giving me the shoes, I really appreciate it!
