This off-season, the Philadelphia Phillies made a bunch of big acquisitions.

They signed the best free agent in baseball who also happens to be the best shortstop in baseball in Trea Turner.

They bolstered their bullpen by acquiring guys like Craig Kimbrel and Gregory Soto.

Not to mention, they even deepened their starting pitching rotation by signing Taijuan Walker away from a huge rival, the New York Mets.

All that to be said, I think it is safe to say that the biggest addition the team made this off-season — and I literally mean BIGGEST — is the brand new upgraded Phanavision scoreboard out in the left field stands!

It is not quite finished construction yet, but it is definitely getting there and if you happen to be around the stadium complex, you can’t miss it!

In fact, on our early Sunday morning 20-mile bike ride in South Philly over the weekend, the girlfriend and I saw it up close for the first time!

And, yes, the 20-mile bike ride was necessary the day after we hit our favorite food truck, Cousins Maine Lobster on Saturday!

Read about that here!

But back to today’s story!

When I tell you that the screen is humongous…

That is an understatement!

I was able to snag some pictures from a few different angles that really shows just how gigantic this thing is going to be when it is done!

It is going to be at least three times the size of the older big screen.

No matter where you are in the stadium I am sure you’ll have a perfect view of the new screen!

It is going to be a game-changer for sure!

Hopefully those new players I mentioned earlier will also be some game-changers on the field as well!

Oh, and by the way, Citizens Bank Park is not the only place down at the stadium complex getting a brand-new screen.

Xfinity Live across the street is also set to debut its new LED screen just in time for baseball season!

Oprah must have hit Broad and Pattison because it really seems like, “You get a new huge screen, you get a new huge screen, and you get a new huge screen!”

Needless to say, there won’t be a shortage of screens to watch the Phillies play this year!

The team starts its regular season in a little under a month.

Hopefully, the team can finish the job this year after coming so close last season.

Philly needs a parade!
