Queen is one of rock’s most iconic bands. Its legend has only grown in recent years thanks to the 2018 Academy Award-winning biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.
The band formed in 1970, and in 1973, they released their self-titled debut album. After that, Queen released six more albums in the ’70s: 1974’s Queen II and Sheer Heart Attack; 1975’s A Night at the Opera; 1976’s A Day at the Races; 1977’s News of the World; and 1978’s Jazz.
The ’80s saw Queen flirt with more pop elements but still maintain their unique identity. Among the albums released that decade was 1980’s The Game and Flash Gordon, 1982’s Hot Space, 1984’s The Works, 1986’s A Kind of Magic and 1989’s The Miracle.
February 1991 gave us Innuendo, the final Queen album released before singer Freddie Mercury’s untimely death on November 24, 1991. The album’s final single was “The Show Must Go On,” which was released a little over a month before Mercury died. The moving music video showed Queen over the years.
Like many other classic rock bands, Queen has increased their merchandise offerings over the years to match their legendary catalog. Some of their best merch items are, of course, their array of t-shirts and other clothing. Here are seven Queen shirts and other items that, just like them, are a kind of magic.
