Seemingly every year there’s buzz about The Kinks getting back together, and in 2018, the latest talk comes via Ray Davies in a recent interview with U.K.’s Channel 4 News where he says the band is making a new album.  However, it’s difficult to tell if he’s being sincere. You be the judge on whether he’s being cheeky or not.



Of course, after this interview with Ray gained some traction, Dave Davies posted the following on Twitter.  



Is this will they/won’t they business annoying?  Yes, but at least they’re not opening fighting in the press anymore.  So...progress? Yeah, we’ll go that.
